Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Amadon. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use Amadon.

1. About Amadon

Amadon is a third-party, player-run marketplace application for EVE Online. It allows approved sellers to list in-game items from their personal inventories, and allows buyers to browse those listings and complete purchases through EVE Online's native item exchange contract system.

Amadon is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or in any way connected to CCP hf. EVE Online, EVE, CCP, and all related logos and images are trademarks or registered trademarks of CCP hf. All rights in EVE Online are reserved by CCP hf.

Amadon operates under the CCP Developer License Agreement. All use of EVE data and ESI (EVE Swagger Interface) on this platform is subject to that agreement.

2. Eligibility

To use Amadon you must:

  • Hold a valid, registered EVE Online account in good standing
  • Be of legal age to enter binding contracts in your jurisdiction
  • Not be barred from using online services under applicable law

By logging in with EVE SSO you confirm that you meet these requirements. Amadon uses CCP's Single Sign-On system for authentication. No separate password is stored on Amadon.

3. In-Game Currency and Virtual Items

All transactions on Amadon are conducted exclusively in ISK (Interstellar Kredit), EVE Online's in-game virtual currency. ISK has no real-world monetary value. Amadon does not process, hold, or facilitate the transfer of any real-world currency.

Real-money trading (RMT) is strictly prohibited. You may not use Amadon to sell, purchase, or otherwise exchange in-game items or ISK for real-world money, goods, or services. Doing so violates both these Terms and CCP's EVE Online End User License Agreement and Terms of Service, and may result in permanent account action by CCP.

4. The Contract Process

Amadon facilitates item sales through EVE Online's standard item exchange contract system. No items or ISK are held in escrow by Amadon. The full transaction occurs within EVE Online and is governed by EVE's own mechanics.

When you place an order as a buyer:

  • Stock is reserved for a limited window while you create the matching contract in EVE Online.
  • You must include the unique purchase code in the contract description field exactly as shown.
  • Amadon will automatically validate the contract against your order. If the ISK amount, items, or purchase code do not match, the contract will fail validation and the reserved stock will be released.
  • Amadon is not responsible for incorrect contracts, failed contracts, or any loss of ISK resulting from errors made during contract creation.

When you fulfil an order as a seller:

  • You are responsible for ensuring the items you list are available in your in-game inventory at the stated location.
  • You must accept validated contracts within a reasonable time. Failure to accept valid contracts may result in your seller account being reviewed or suspended.

5. Seller Responsibilities

To become an approved seller your application must be reviewed and approved by an Amadon administrator. Approval is granted at our sole discretion and may be revoked at any time.

As a seller you agree to:

  • Only list items you physically hold in your in-game assets at the location stated
  • Set accurate prices and quantities
  • Accept valid buyer contracts in a timely manner
  • Not manipulate the marketplace, engage in price collusion, or list items with the intention of defrauding buyers
  • Keep your EVE SSO token valid so ESI sync and contract polling can function

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use Amadon to:

  • Defraud, scam, or misrepresent items or prices to other users
  • Engage in real-money trading of any kind
  • Circumvent or manipulate Amadon's contract validation system
  • Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Amadon's systems without authorisation
  • Harvest or collect other users' character data beyond what is publicly visible
  • Use the platform for gambling, lotteries, raffles, or similar activities
  • Violate CCP's EVE Online End User License Agreement or Terms of Service
  • Violate any applicable local, national, or international law or regulation

7. ESI Data and API Access

Amadon accesses your EVE Online character data via ESI (EVE Swagger Interface) using the following permission scopes, which you explicitly authorise during login:

  • esi-assets.read_assets.v1 — to read your in-game asset list for inventory sync
  • esi-contracts.read_character_contracts.v1 — to read your contracts for order validation
  • esi-universe.read_structures.v1 — to resolve structure names for display
  • esi-mail.send_mail.v1 — used only by the designated system mail sender character to dispatch order notifications

You may revoke ESI access at any time via your EVE Online account management page. Revoking access will prevent inventory sync and contract polling from functioning until access is re-authorised.

8. Intellectual Property

EVE Online game data, item names, icons, and related assets displayed on Amadon are the intellectual property of CCP hf. and are used under the CCP Developer License Agreement.

Amadon's own code, design, and non-CCP content are the property of the Amadon operator. You may not copy, redistribute, or create derivative works from Amadon's proprietary materials without permission.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

Amadon is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that listed items will remain available.

Because all transactions occur within EVE Online, Amadon has no ability to reverse, refund, or otherwise remedy in-game contract outcomes. Amadon is not liable for any loss of ISK, items, or in-game assets arising from the use of this platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Amadon's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the platform shall not exceed zero, as no real-world monetary consideration is exchanged through this service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Amadon at any time, with or without notice, if we determine you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent conduct, or if required to do so by applicable law or by CCP.

You may stop using Amadon at any time. Any pending orders at the time of account termination remain subject to these Terms until resolved.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Amadon after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be communicated via a site notice where reasonably practicable.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Amadon operator is established. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.

Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.
